My Biography

Scott Campbell: Culinary Expert and Talented Photographer

Scott Campbell is a chef-by-trade and a talented photographer who specializes in food photography, live events and portraits. His natural eye for detail and strong creative energy means that he composes shots that bring the food to life, making the passion of the people who make the food stand out. His decades of experience as a chef inform Scott’s ability to capture the behind-the-scenes moments that are key to authentic storytelling.

Scott grew up in the restaurant industry, starting at age 8 in his family’s restaurant – Campbell’s Boat House, in Media, PA. Over the course of his career, he worked in hotels and at country clubs, spending 8 years as Chef at Downingtown Country Club and 5 years at Radnor Valley Country Club.

Scott decided to change course professionally so that he could spend more time with his son, realizing that while he was pursuing his career as a chef he was missing many opportunities to spend valuable time together. He still works on a freelance basis with friends in the industry and for special events.
