Mariya Tacheva: Visual Storyteller for People, Purpose & Place
A warm hello from Mimi Tacheva, a Bulgarian-American multidisciplinary graphic designer based in Philly and current student at Drexel University. Her primary focus is to make sure nothing gets lost in translation from idea to process to final design, and the beauty that comes after. The act of staying true to identity, authenticity, and intention is where Mimi finds purpose and drive. She believes questions are meant to be asked without fear of judgment, and answers are worth the listen.
Mimi’s focuses include brand & identity design, publication design, packaging, and web and UI/UX design. She has a deep passion for the intersection of design and food, and the thoughtfulness and connection it imbues. She respects that it takes a certain kind of person, with a very particular drive to work in hospitality and she’s dedicated to making their creative focus shine through in her work.
Mimi brings her own drive – fueled by thoughtful intention, joyful creativity and collaborative spirit – to every project she works on and it shows!
Outside of school and work, Mimi loves cooking, crafting jewelry and perfumes, being with nature, failing at fishing (but still trying), camping with friends, and resurrecting snail mail.
